Your images

Your images and everything you draw or type on them stay on your device, in your browser, and are never uploaded. They live in the open page only: when you close or reload it, they are gone, and nothing is stored in your browser. When you save or copy your annotated image, it is re-encoded as a new PNG, which removes embedded metadata such as EXIF and GPS location. The site has no accounts, shows no ads, and never asks for your name, email, or other personal details.

Sharing on X

If you use "Share on X", it opens X (formerly Twitter) in a new tab with a suggested post containing this site's address. Your image is never included. X's privacy policy applies there: https://x.com/en/privacy

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. It runs only after you accept it in our consent banner, so our legal basis is your consent; if you decline, it doesn't run. Once accepted, it sets cookies and sends Google (United States) your IP address, device and browser details, the pages you visit, and your approximate location. Image contents, file names and the text you type are never sent. Google Signals and ad personalization are turned off. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage for up to 12 months, and you can change it anytime with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of each page; withdrawing stops Analytics and deletes its cookies. Feedback

If you use the "Send Feedback" link, it opens a Google Form with this site's name filled in. Anything you submit is sent to Google (United States) and to us, and we use it only to improve our sites. Please don't include personal details you don't want to share. Google's privacy policy applies to the form.

Server logs

Our hosting provider, which may be located in a country other than your home country, may log IP addresses and similar request details as part of running and securing the site, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie to block automated abuse. We don't use this information for anything. (For EU/UK visitors, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure.)
